march a commeth, and the trophy has goeth to Sir Dunki.

i tried to be the biggest arse around be coming in late, do one lap and trying to beat the competition... but Dunky thought differently.

As i was lounging on the sofa downstairs with two pickles, a glass of Cokelight and Discovery on the telly and i looked at the clock.. i noticed it was near 10-ish.... as the commercials started very NEAR 10-ish.. i ehm..... all offa sudden saw my Sj-life stream across my eyes and panic set in.... wait a minute.. this is the first friday of the month, this is ARSE TIME...

Hauled my arse upstairs and put the monitor on the racingsetup (yes.. i'm back to one screen with long cables now..) booted up Teamspeak, which took surprisingly long (think it was trying to find a non-existant update) and apologized for beeing late...
They told me to "get my arse in here" so i did.... was asked by Byron if i needed to do some laps, but overconfident in my unablilty and expirience WITH THE Power and GLORY mod.. i just knew it would feel good whatever... so i just did the one lap. Then i was thinking of my other inablilty which is the power to pick the wrong tyres for the job in the normal P&G races on the fridayevenings... and had some help in unticking the "autoselect tyres" (thanks Pete) and the correct default tyretype (thanks Pete) so we'd be evenly matched.. i reconed.. Mind you, i wasn't planning on racing, since i've hurt my right wrist due to a wrong sittingposition operating the Joystick in the truck... it's gonna be some time untill the pain really goes away.. typing isn't a good thing either... so i'll keep this as short as. ehr.. it's already filling the screen.. nevermind then.. I just love Donington and have seen almost every part of the track before.. mostly the graveltraps, and the extended edges of asphalt, even the underside of Ferrari 275 in one of our leagues back then (think it was Oldgreasy i shunted, dove underneath his rear-portion of car) (wanted to edit a picture but then my computer gave me a blue screen of death.. scary.. so posted.. and am now editing, but somehow firefox remembered what i had typed.. oh ehr.. Edited picture in) Watched Byron do a lap, only to find out that the session didn't shift, we all voted, but it stayed on Qualy1.. ah well.. server reload then no matter... reloaded the track and we were roaring to go again.. only catch was... due to my overconfidence and Byron testing out the track first, i was runner up..

Anyways.. i did my lap, not with overconfidence, but trying to be fast but clean.. and noticed the power of the GT40 was taking me EVERYWHERE.. but i was too scared to play with it, actually it just felt like a GT40 i think would feel, heavy, powerfull, nogrip, sh*tstained
. Then after that i watched Dunki do his lap and i was amazed at his lines, how he kept the backend from stepping out.. almost felt like someone else was driving, as afterwards we did some laps and he was all over the place

Even Drokky tried to take a threewheeler over the finishline and completed it faster then Tedward did with his

Pete had a Ball ... as usual.. and it wasn't mine..

One more thing i have to say.... Ted.. yer right... i DID do laps untill i mastered dunki's laptime, you know me too well, sire

Thanks for letting me watch boys, enjoyed the banter allthough i didn't want to wake the missus.. i've got to get her a tent one of these days.. so she can camp outside and i can just talk!
